JetStream Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution, serving our members since 1948 with a wide range of services to meet all your financial needs. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or businesses and other legal entities in all of Miami-Dade County, Florida, and in Carolina, Trujillo Alto and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; members of the immediate family or household; volunteers in the community and organizations of such persons. All persons (and their family members) who work in any of our Member Companies located in Miami-Dade County and the select areas of Puerto Rico may also join.
As a member of JetStream Federal, you actually are an owner of the credit union. You are entitled to vote in elections held annually to fill positions on the voluntary Board of Directors.

Once you join the credit union, you are always a member, even if you leave your job, retire, or move out of the area. As long as you keep your account open, the full range of benefits are available to you.

How to Apply for Membership
Once you’ve completed your application online, bring the application signed and a non-expired government issued, photo ID (Driver’s License, U.S. Passport or Resident Alien ID) and another form of ID to any branch office, or mail in your application along with copies of your ID and a check made payable to JetStream FCU (your initial deposit) for $25.00, to us at:

Remember, if you are applying for a joint account, both the primary member and joint accountholder must sign the card where indicated.
Important Information about Procedures for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you, when you open an account we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
Important: Whether you walk in or mail in, please ensure that you supply a valid ID for both the primary member and the joint account holder.
