  • Who can open? A Personal Representative with valid Letters of Administration issued by a Florida or Puerto Rico court.
  • Access & Features:
    ✔ Only accessible by the Personal Representative.
    ✔ Check-writing available.

Trust Accounts (Revocable & Irrevocable)

Designed for Trustees managing assets in accordance with trust terms.

  • Who can open? A legally appointed Trustee.
  • Access & Features:
    ✔ Available for both Revocable and Irrevocable Personal Trusts.
    ✔ Funds remain protected while ensuring proper distribution.

Plenary Guardianship Accounts

For court-appointed guardians managing finances on behalf of another individual.

  • Who can open? A Guardian with valid Florida Letters of Guardianship.
  • Access & Features:
    ✔ Only accessible by the appointed Guardian(s).
    ✔ Check-writing and debit cards available.
    ✔ JetStream FCU cannot serve as a Restricted Depository.

Power of Attorney (POA) Accounts

For individuals who have been granted legal authority to manage another person’s finances.

  • Who can open? A Power of Attorney (POA) Agent meeting Florida Statutory requirements, subject to legal review.
  • Access & Features:
    ✔ POA Agents can be added to a General Membership account (excludes Trusts and Fiduciary roles).
    ✔ Check-writing and debit card options available.

Representative Payee Accounts

For individuals appointed as Representative Payees to manage federal benefit payments.

  • Who can open? A Representative Payee appointed by the Social Security Administration, VA, Office of Personnel Management, or Railroad Retirement Board.
  • Access & Features:
    ✔ Only accessible by the Representative Payee.
    ✔ Check-writing and debit cards available.
    ✔ Funds must be managed according to federal regulations.

Fiduciary for VA Benefits Accounts

For an individual that has been appointed as Fiduciary by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to receive VA funds on behalf of a beneficiary for the use and benefit of the beneficiary and their dependents.

  • Who can open? A Fiduciary officially appointed by the VA.
  • Access & Features:
    ✔ Only the VA-appointed Fiduciary can access funds.
    ✔ Check-writing and debit cards available.
    ✔ Funds are safeguarded under VA fiduciary account program guidelines.
