JetStream Federal Credit Union Recognized at Nevis Association of South Florida’s 17th Anniversary Christmas Banquet
Pembroke Pines, FL – January 7, 2026 – JetStream Federal Credit Union was proud to serve as a Silver Sponsor and to be recognized at the Nevis Association of South Florida’s 17th Anniversary Christmas Banquet, held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Club 19 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The event began at 6:00 PM and welcomed more than 220 guests for an inspiring evening of celebration, reflection, and community pride.
The evening featured engaging and thought-provoking presentations from Mrs. Dawn Liburd, Senior Risk Specialist at Microsoft, and journalist Steve Manners, both of whom shared powerful insights drawn from their professional experiences, encouraging perseverance, leadership, and excellence within the Nevisian community.
President Clinton Weeks delivered heartfelt remarks that highlighted the strength, resilience, and unity of the Nevisian people. His message resonated deeply with attendees, reminding them that while Nevis may be small, it is mighty, and that with determination and purpose, there are no limits to what can be achieved.

The Annual Christmas Banquet is the signature event of the Nevis Association of South Florida, Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, and serves as its largest fundraiser. Proceeds support initiatives in education, culture, sports, health, and community development in Nevis and across the diaspora.
