JetStream Federal Credit Union Supports Kristi House Back-to-School Resource Fair in Homestead

Miami Lakes, FL — September 4, 2026, — JetStream Federal Credit Union joined other sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers in supporting Kristi House’s Back-to-School Resource Fair at The Healing Sanctuary in Homestead on August 8, 2026, helping local children and families prepare for the new school year.

The event welcomed approximately 750 attendees, 100 volunteers, and 30 exhibitors, with 800 backpacks filled with school supplies distributed to children. The fair also welcomed many new families and connected them with valuable community resources.

Kristi House is a Miami-Dade Children’s Advocacy Center dedicated to supporting children and families impacted by abuse and trauma.

“It was wonderful to see so many families come together and receive the resources they need to start the school year,” said Beata Bezen, a JetStream Federal Credit Union employee who attended the event. “We’re proud to support Kristi House and be part of such a meaningful community effort.”
